When onboarding a new team member, they struggled to understand how to onboard without direction because it wasn't explicit to register an account first from the invitation link, and our users were attempting to sign up by requesting a magic link with the same email address with no feedback other than they weren't receiving the magic link emails.
It may be better handling for the invitation links to go to the registration form to force the registration process versus the login form if the user does not already exist.
Account creation from an invitation link should also auto-accept the invitation if the user does not already exist.

We’ve completely redesigned the onboarding experience.
Now, if a user doesn’t have an account, they’ll be redirected to the signup flow and invitation links will always lead to a dedicated welcome screen.
We hope this greatly improves the experience for your future team members!
